As you know I'm an avid reader! I've been reading a book on detoxing and addictions. Coffee, energy drinks, soda, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, exercise, food, sugar, wheat/gluten, sex. porn, complaining, blaming, procrastinating...etc. These things numb us and prevent us from receiving messages from our guides and dull our intuition. When our bodies and mind are clear from toxins, our brains are sharper, we are focused, full of energy and more creative!! Thus ready to fulfill our life purpose here on Earth!
Some simple steps to take to help release addictions:
Support/Accountability- Therapist, counselor, energy healer, pastor, family, friends.
Ask your angels and the Universe for help- Call upon Archangel Michael and Raphael specifically for addictions.
Rid your home of anything you use to dull the pain, hurt, boredom, or loneliness.
Fuel your body with clean foods. Avoid processed, acidic foods and other toxins.
Drink plenty of pure, filtered water. When we are dehydrated we are more emotional, develop brain fog, which leads to making bad decisions.
Use essential oils. Particularly Geranium and Rose. Geranium helps regulate your body clock and balances your sleep/wake cycles. It's calming and uplifting at the same time. It also enhances your self-esteem and confidence. Rose brings you to a heart-centered space, with your total awareness being focused on love, which is the ultimate healer. The more love you surround yourself with, the more healing energy you will experience.
Detox negative people from your life. Dramatic, draining, and stressful people have no place in your life. These people can dampen your light and overstep boundaries. If you feel off or uneasy around someone they are usually negatively affecting your energy. Releasing these unhealthy and unbalanced relationships is the healthiest thing you can do.

Ran across this quote and wanted to share. I re-read it over and over and it's true! We always answer everything with, "I've been really 'busy'." But what are you "busy" doing? Let's change the way we think and act. Why not do things that make us happy?!?! I would love to hear your thoughts on this! Please leave a comment below.

If the statement above is in your vocabulary, we need to talk!! If you have been following me for awhile you have probably noticed me mention the term, "self-love."
Self-love by definition is the belief you hold that you are a valuable and worthy person.
When you truly love yourself you are able to excel in all areas of our life. There is massive energy shift when you move from a state of self-hate to self-love. If you continually put off living your life because you feel unworthy, ugly, fat, or incompetent you are not fulfilling your purpose here on this Earth. If you are stuck in this place here are a few questions to ask yourself that may spark a little flame inside you:
If you could do anything for the rest of your life regardless of how much money you make, what would you do? (life purpose and passion)
What is your greatest accomplishment in life so far? (increase your self-esteem)
What are you grateful for? (negative to positive mindset shift)
Who is your role model? (try to be more like this person; take action!)
What made you happy when you were seven years old? (this is key to discovering what sets your soul on fire)
Spend time with those who you look up to and do something TODAY that brings you happiness!
Please CONTACT ME if you could use some support, encouragement, accountability, and positivity in your life!

What our response should be when we are asked this question! Too often we forget that our life is now, not 10 years from now, not after we retire, or only live our life after 5:00 PM. Stir up some passion in your life so when you go to bed at night and review your day you know you spent every last second living and doing what you enjoy!

Stop over-analyzing and worrying! Place trust in your life purpose and your path. Some things are out of your control. Let them go! Shake those limiting beliefs away and believe you are meant for greatness. Keep your thoughts in check and re-focus when needed!

I finished another book this week! If it resonates with you
go ahead and buy it. Read a few pages and if it doesn't make sense to you go
ahead and put it back on the shelf. You may not be ready to read it yet
at this time in your life. (and that is quite alright!) I purchased the book a
few years ago and it was over my head but pulled it back out a few weeks ago and couldn't put
it down!!
A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose- Eckhart Tolle
With his bestselling spiritual guide The Power of Now,
Eckhart Tolle inspired millions of readers to discover the freedom and joy of a
life lived "in the now." In A New Earth, Tolle expands on these
powerful ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is
not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict
and suffering throughout the world. Tolle describes how our attachment to the
ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and
shows readers how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path
to a truly fulfilling existence.
A Few Important Passages That Struck Me:
"The past lives in you as memories, but memories in
themselves are not a problem. In fact, it is through memory that we learn from
the past and from past mistakes. It is only when memories, that is to
say, thoughts about the past, take you over completely that they turn into a
burden, turn problematic, and become part of your sense of self. Your
personality, which is conditioned by the past, then becomes your prison.
Your memories are invested with a sense of self, and your story becomes
who you perceive yourself to be. This "little me" is an
illusion that obscures your true identity as timeless and formless Presence."
"If the thought of lack--whether it be money,
recognition, or love--has become part of who you think you are, you will always
experience lack. Rather than acknowledge the good that is already in your
life, all you see is lack. Acknowledging the good that is already in your
life is the foundation of all abundance. The fact is: Whatever you think
the world is withholding from you, you are withholding from the world.
You are withholding it because deep down you think you are small and that
you have nothing to give."
"Your life has an inner purpose and an outer purpose. Inner purpose concerns Being and is primary. Outer purpose concerns doing and is secondary. Your inner purpose is to awaken. It is as simple as that. You share that purpose with every other person on the planet-- because it is the purpose of humanity. Your inner purpose is an essential part of the purpose of the whole, the universe and its emerging intelligence. Your outer purpose can change over time. It varies greatly from person to person. Finding and living in alignment with the inner purpose is the foundation for fulfilling your outer purpose. It is the basis of true success. Without alignment, you can still achieve certain things through effort, struggle, determination, and sheer hard work or cunning. But there is no joy in such endeavor, and it invariably ends in some form of suffering."
**This book will really make you question life and what you are doing each day! We all have a purpose on this Earth. It's your job and duty to spread your strengths with the world!
