Calcium-Leave the Cows Alone

Dairy is rich in calcium but it's also difficult to digest and is missing it's companion mineral for bone health, magnesium. Most people also lack the digestive enzyme to break down milk in the body. Conventional dairy products contain growth hormones and antibiotics. Have acne? Ditch the dairy and your skin will clear up! Dairy products can also be constipating. The best choices for calcium are leafy greens, such as chard, spinach, and kale. Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli are excellent as well as almonds and other nuts, all of which are also good magnesium sources. Calcium supplements are controversial because they can form calcium deposits in the body.

Acne- Zits Be Gone

Many people try using creams, prescriptions, and harsh chemical face cleansers to get rid of acne. The solution is inward!

Here are a Few Suggestions:

Acne and Candida go hand in hand. Candida is a bad yeast and  bacteria that grows in the body. You can develop it from using antibiotics, birth control pills, excess sugar in the diet, and drinking chlorinated water. Any type of skin condition stems from body toxicity, stress, hormonal imbalances, and nutrient deficiencies.

Try removing all sugar from your diet. Use Stevia instead or raw local honey. Limit grain intake- especially gluten because it causes inflammation in gut. Eczema is really gut inflammation!! Lower your fruit intake-berries and green apples have the lowest sugar content. Avoid hydrogenated oils- switch to extra-virgin, cold pressed organic coconut oil. (has anti-microbial properties- kills off the bacteria) Dairy products also cause allergic reactions  and can worsen the condition.

Foods to eat:

Foods high in fiber-chia seeds, flax seeds, almonds and other nuts, veggies. This will help balance out your blood sugar levels.  Consume more protein- organic chicken, turkey, organic eggs, grass fed beef, sprouted vegan protein (ask me about this), wild caught fish.

Supplements and More:
  • Probiotics- puts good bacteria in the gut, helps immune system, at least 50 billion IUS daily.
  • Zinc- will repair gut lining- 50 mg/day.
  • Antioxidants- elderberry extract- put in smoothies
  • Candida Cleanse
  • Fish Oil (Omega 3's)- helps with inflammation; aids in healing.
  • Face wash-use one containing tea tree oil, willow bark, aloe;  kills bacteria and moisturizes.

Are You Taking High Quality Supplements? Be Sure to Check Labels for These Dangerous Additives!

Most vitamins sold in department and grocery stores are vitamins in synthetic forms with a long list of unhealthy and toxic ingredients. Your supplements should be made from actual food! Your body will absorb and assimilate them better.  Most cheap vitamins go right through your body and end up in the toilet! They do more harm to your body than good!

Magnesium stearate has been shown to cause kidney stones and liver abnormalities. It is that it is often found as a combined product of stearic acid. Since it is made by hydrogenating cottonseed or palm oil, you risk consuming pesticide residue, since cottonseed oil has the highest content of pesticide residue of all commercially produced oils.

Common fillers in supplements:

BHT - This fat-soluble compound is used in jet fuels, rubber, petroleum products and embalming fluid. Research has linked BHT to bladder cancer, DNA damage, gastric and lung cancer.

Boric acid - This chemical is used as an antiseptic, insecticide and flame retardant. It is also connected to DNA damage.

Synthetic vitamin A - Capable of causing birth defects.

Cupric sulfate - This is used as an herbicide, fungicide and pesticide. Very irritating if ingested.

Stearic acid - Is a white, waxy, natural fatty acid found in some vegetables and animal fats. It is a major ingredient in soaps and lubricants. If prepared synthetically by hydrogenation of cottonseed and other oils, it contains pesticide residue. It is added as a lubricant and to hold tablets together.

Maltodextrin - This sugar is obtained by hydrolysis of starch. Used to add texture and as a flavor enhancer.

Modified maize starch - This filler is a derivative of corn that has been chemically altered to dissolve quickly and serves as a thickener. Most corn is GMO.

Sodium benzoate - Synthetic chemical used as a preservative. Can damage DNA.

Hydrogenated palm oil - Hydrogenation is the process of adding hydrogen gas to liquid oils. Hydrogenation leads to trans fats which contribute to fat clogged arteries.

Potassium chloride - Colorless, odorless powder, used to improve fermentation. Small intestinal ulcers may occur with oral administration. Larger doses can cause gastrointestinal irritation, weakness and circulatory collapse.

There is an enormous difference between whole food supplements and synthetics. Ultimately you want to avoid synthetics and fillers. Look for high quality whole food organic supplements whenever possible. I sell a line that is organic, raw, and whole-foods based!
