Ran across this quote and wanted to share. I re-read it over and over and it's true! We always answer everything with, "I've been really 'busy'." But what are you "busy" doing? Let's change the way we think and act. Why not do things that make us happy?!?! I would love to hear your thoughts on this! Please leave a comment below.

Giving and receiving is an energy exchange. This applies to compliments as well. Saying thank you after someone says something nice about you is you receiving and accepting their kind words. Money is also an energy exchange. Don't short yourself by giving out everything for free.
Do not charge less than what you are worth in business. Doing things for free blocks the natural movement of energy and may prevent you from accepting opportunities where you are compensated for your value. People are more apt to associate higher value with products or services they purchase. This also applies to relationships, friendships, and marriages.
When you love yourself and know your worth you will not accept anything less! Let the abundance flow!

If you find yourself feeling anxious, jumpy, and panicky
mid-afternoon, or lethargic, uncomfortable and sluggish, it could be your lunch
stressing you out, rather than your job!
*Don't rush
your lunch. The faster you eat, the more likely you are to swallow air, which
can cause wind, bloating and abdominal pain. People often swallow too much air
as a reaction to stress. Try to sit quietly during and after lunch (preferably away from your desk!) A huge
amount of blood - 40 percent of your blood supply - passes through the
digestive system after a meal, allowing the nourishment to be absorbed and
distributed throughout the body. You shouldn't even shop, let alone exercise,
after eating because activity will divert most of the blood from the digestive
system to help muscles perform.

I've been traveling a lot back and forth to Minneapolis for work so I thought I would give you a few tips and suggestions on how I manage to keep up with my healthy lifestyle while I'm on the go!
Gyms: locate one near where you are staying. Some hotels even offer free day passes at local gyms! Ask at the front desk. I have an Anytime Fitness gym membership so I can workout at any gym across the US. Most gyms, yoga, pilates, spin, boxing, and martial arts studios also offer a free week to new potential members or online discount coupons so take advantage of those if you can! Your hotel may even have a small fitness center.
Lace up your tennies and walk around the airport terminal while waiting for flights. Extra points if you speed walk up and down the escalators instead of standing on them!
Find a walking/jogging trail or park. I always keep my rollerblades or snowshoes in my trunk in case I want to venture out!
Do BURST exercise training in your hotel room (Interval training). No equipment needed! (Contact me for workout plans)
Hotels: Take the stairs! Carry your luggage up for a great workout. I always ask for a room on the top floor for this reason.
Stop at a grocery store. Pack a cooler and stock up on:
Filtered Water
Coconut Water
Milk Alternatives-unsweetened almond, flax, hemp, or coconut milks
Cold-Pressed Juices
Herbal Teas (hotels usually have a coffee maker to heat up water)
Raw Nuts
Raw Seeds
Organic String cheese
Fruit
Raw Veggies
Gluten Free Crackers
Larabars or any other raw food bars
Nut butters
Hummus
Salsa
Corn Tortilla or Bean Chips
Popcorn
Salad Greens and Sprouts
Kale Chips
Greek Yogurt
Hard Boiled Eggs
Beans and Lentils
Tuna
Hotel breakfast: opt for the protein choices: eggs, meat and stay away from the high sugar selections: juice, waffles, pancakes, muffins, donuts, rolls, toast, sugared cereals, sweetened yogurt, yes, even oatmeal! Fruit is also a better choice. The lowest sugar fruits are berries and Granny Smith (green) apples. Or bring some of your own protein powder, greens powder and a shaker cup for a quick, easy breakfast!
Seek out restaurants nearby that serve local, organic, fresh, clean food!
And lastly, turn your hotel stay into a spa retreat by soaking in the bathtub with a deep pore cleansing facial mask or peel and a good book! Unwind and de-stress. I do this often when I travel alone!

Often, one of our biggest questions is, "What's going to happen?" We may ask this about our relationships, job, or life. It's so easy to get tangled in the worrisome thoughts!
Worrying about what is going to happen blocks us from functioning effectively in the here and now- the present moment. It blocks us from learning the lessons today and has a negative effect on our future. When we worry we draw the negative thoughts into our lives. If you constantly are worried about money, your spouse cheating on you, your car not starting and so forth those things will eventually happen because of the energy you are drawing to it!
Things will work out for the best if we let them. Being present when talking to family, friends, clients, coworkers will fend off the worrying. Choose to be happy and TRUST that things will work out. Have a tough decision you need to make? Sleep on it, meditate, pray, and believe you will make the right choice! Sometimes we take life too seriously! Smile, have fun, breathe, and LIVE! :-)

The Journey- No matter where you are in your life right now remember to NEVER give up!! We are all meant to succeed in our own way. Actually LIVING is tough. We are all continually afraid to venture out and take risks. But why? There is always a solution to everything! If things do not work out get up and try again! I have this photo as the desktop on my laptop and read it every day. I am in charge of my life and the only way to make my dreams come true is to work hard EVERY day!! Cheers to a fearless Friday!!
