This past week I deleted my Facebook (FB), Instagram (IG), and Pinterest apps off my phone. It freed up a lot of time I wasted, I got more sleep, and I feel as though I got my sanity back! I accomplished many things I've been putting off, called and talked to my mom four times (instead of texting every day), and was able to keep calm instead of feeling anxious about posting and responding to comments and messages. I also have a better sense of peace knowing not everyone needs to know where I am or what I am doing 24/7 and I don't have to know what anyone else is doing either!!
I don't plan on adding my FB or IG apps back on my phone anytime soon but know a lot of you are missing my daily inspiration posts so will be posting again starting this week! I urge you to take a week or two off social media and see how your relationships and sense of self grow! Let's get back to living in the actual world and not the online version!

"Forgiveness allows us to be fully present in this moment,
right here, right now. Forgiveness enables us to wholeheartedly embrace what is
and to be at peace with our past and fully engaged with the present. Making
peace with our past is the most immediate way we can experience the abundance
that is our birthright. Without forgiveness there is always something pulling
us out of alignment with ourselves and with life; it is an energy drain in our
system.
Until we have made perfect peace with all that has occurred
in our life, and with all the people who have played a part in it, we deny
ourselves the full richness of our true abundance. Forgiveness is a gift we
give to ourselves. It frees up the energy we had invested in making another, or
ourselves, wrong. Ultimately, forgiveness is letting go of the illusion that
something actually ever went wrong." - TJ Woodward

This afternoon I stopped by The Enchanted Garden in Richfield, MN to pick up some stones for protection. I'm a very sensitive and intuitive person and have been reading about how I can shield myself from the negative energy of others. As I walked in I was stunned with all the beauty of the crystals and rocks. Mother Earth sure produces some amazing things! Below is a photo of Amethyst I took.
I purchased six different stones today and the one I know I needed the most is Rose Quartz. The owner of the store showed me a reference book where I sought out the spiritual meaning:
"Rose quartz is the
stone of unconditional love, inner peace, emotional healing, compassion,
self-love, and self-acceptance. It is so gentle and has such a high
vibration of love that it naturally acts as a protector, warding
off negative energy and encouraging you to be in a state of love and
light. It purifies and opens up the heart chakra, clearing away old emotional wounds, pain, or trauma.
Rose quartz allows you to both give and receive love and find a
healthy balance between the two. It has universal feminine qualities and
therefore is very nurturing and great for mothers and children or anyone
needing a mother or feminine protection and understanding in your life. It
nurtures and protects your inner child, and comforts intuitives, empaths
or anyone who is feeling particularly sensitive or vulnerable.
It is a very calming, reassuring stone so makes you feel at peace. It helps you
to see the beauty around you and to stay in a more positive light. It can help
beautify your thoughts and intentions. If you are going through a period of
change or transition, it can help you accept the road ahead and the sense of
the unknown more easily.
You can use rose quartz to draw love to you through its feminine power, whether that mean cleansing and healing current relationships, or manifesting new ones that soothe the heart. It also mends and comforts broken hearts."
I'm writing this tonight to make you aware of your own self love and self worth. How are you treating yourself and your body? Maybe it's time to make a few changes! <3
Affirmation: “I safely open and heal my heart. I truly forgive, love and accept myself. My inner child is safe and I am safe. It is safe to love and open my heart to love. I am accepted, whole and have harmonious, peaceful relationships. I AM LOVE.” ~ Natalia Kuna

I received this Facebook message from a friend earlier today:
"I don't know if you know of my obsession with Jason Mraz... but... This song reminded me of you for a couple reasons -- it overall just tends to make you feel good, but it also has a good message I think and seems like something you'd enjoy so I thought I'd share :-)
And I think you can take "back to the Earth" in several ways - including how we fuel our bodies, so I thought of you!"
After listening to it a few times I am reminded of how I need to live a simpler life; especially when I get overwhelmed. How about you? We tend to take the little things for granted and are so caught up in our phones, gadgets, social media, and our material "things" that we sometimes miss the beauty and people around us! This includes getting back in tune with nature and eating foods from the Earth!
Think about what you can cut out of your life to make it more peaceful. You may need to scale back on your responsibilities and the activities you are involved in and sell or donate items in your home. Be sure to take some time for yourself to sit quietly, clear you head, and breathe! And don't forget to shop local! :-)

I went on a snowshoe exploration this morning for my workout with my brother's dogs! Felt good to get out into the fresh air and sunshine! This week Mother Nature has been very moody... melting snow and 40 degree weather to a blizzard! Nuts! Snowshoeing is a great workout if you have never tried it. A good pair will cost around $100 or so. I found mine last winter on Craigslist for $75. They were brand new and still in the plastic! You could also check out Ebay or any sporting goods store. Get out and get moving!

A few weeks ago I was reading a story in my Success magazine about a Olympian that had a horrible childhood but still managed to excel despite all the negativity from her past. She had many struggles but this is what she kept telling herself, "I'm not going to be a person that gives up on myself."
Just because you are having a hard time doesn't mean you should give up. Ask for help! Some things we cannot handle alone. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of strength and growth.
Every day I encounter people who have given up on themselves... these are the people that have no goals, have nothing to look forward to in life, give up on their health, complain about how much they don't like their life but don't do anything about it, work day in and day out in jobs they hate, have the same toxic relationships, or have the "I am going to die sometime" attitude so I'm going to eat whatever I want.... these people are "clutterers of the Earth." They take up space and do not realize how much potential they could have!! God has plans for each of our lives and many people do not accept the fact they were created for a purpose. We had a team training yesterday at work and I loved this quote my boss said she saw on a greeting card, "Nature never repeats herself and the possibilities of one human's soul will never be found in another." Nobody will ever be exactly like you and hold your same destiny!

I hope you are doing what you love in life and are continually working towards your God-given purpose!! If not get up, look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you are worth it and deserve wonderful things and people in your life! :-D

I went for a run outside this afternoon . As I began my run, I didn't anticipate all that I experienced. The wind blowing through my hair, my body beginning to respond to movement, I felt alive as I always do when I run - surrounded by Gods beauty. The trees, flowers, the sound of all of the wildlife around me. My mind cleared and as I focused on pushing my body further I felt exhilarated, and I felt Gods presence... It was, for lack of a better word, uplifting!
As my run came to an end and I began to approach my apartment, a part of me didn't want it to end - although my body and lungs were telling me otherwise - I loved the feeling of a peaceful solitude, something that I don't know that I had ever experienced before. Maybe I am growing up and becoming my own, becoming independent or hopefully more confident to be by myself and not have the need to be surrounded by chaos. Aloneness is underrated!
My outlook today is amazing for some reason... I must have woken up on the right side of the bed! it probably helps that things in life right now are going really well, I do love being in a happy mood, I think that I am going to choose to be happy more often!
I am feeling quite inspirational today, and my mind is racing from one place to another with some fabulous thoughts, I just don't know how to get them out in a verbal way, so I will just smile and keep them to myself for once!
I am finally doing the position at work that I was originally hired to do!! I am so excited! I feel appreciated, and know I have worked my way up and proved that I am a hard worker and dependable! I love my marketing position and being out in the community promoting health and wellness! I am able to utilize my creativity and passions and love meeting new people!! There is so much more to come!! I even found the perfect outfit for my sister's bachelorette party! I ran by Cliche, a designer clothing store in Uptown and saw a green romper in the window. I ended up going back after my run and purchasing it!! Spent too much money but when I tried it on it fit like a glove like it was made especially for me!! :-)

After church this last week I have been thinking alot about angels. The next three weeks the sermons are going to be about the "supernatural." I find this very intriguing!
Angels are created beings that are sent here to protect us, deliver messages, and to strengthen and encourage us. I'm pretty sure I have encountered many angels when I have been discouraged when life has not been going according to planned. The messages they send are usually ones that put things back into perspective and turn my focus to what really matters in life!
This reminds me of when my sister gave me a silver clip to put in my car along time ago that reads, "Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly!" haha I definitely need that reminder! :)
I feel as though there are many angels surrounding me and protecting me especially in this difficult transition time in my life. Some days I ask God to send down angels when I am having a particularly rough day to guide me and surround me with love, peace, serenity, and joy!!
